Meet Dana Armstead, CMA

Originally from Los Angeles, California , Dana became a Certified Medical Assistant in 1994 and has spent 23 years gaining experience in multiple specialties including Internal Medicine, Oncology, Pediatrics, and more.

Having lived and worked in the health industry in San Diego for the past 13 years, she brings to the practice extensive experience as a Certified Medical Assistant, Surgical Technician, Referral Coordinator, Cosmetic Consultant and Office Manager.

Dana’s journey to living a healthy lifestyle  began after donating one of her kidneys to her brother in 1999. At that time she decided to take control of her health. She embraces a Naturopathic approach to health and is excited to be around others who share those same values and lifestyle. She has learned how to listen to her body and encourages others to do the same.

“The healing transformation has given me a clearer understanding of myself as well as improvement in the quality of my life in so many ways. My purpose in life is to continuously educate myself, grow, serve, and share as much information as possible with others that may be on a similar journey.”

“I believe that the two most important things to remember when choosing a Naturopathic Doctor is that they have empathy and you can trust that your safety is the priority. I support Dr. Wolf 100%, she is a phenomenal Doctor with the utmost highest in ethical standards.”

When Dana is not helping patients at Vitalia, she is an active Yoga teacher, a proactive participant in both The Brunch Club and PATH, two organizations that help the homeless in San Diego.  In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, volunteering, teaching Karma yoga, traveling, beach time and spending quality time with family and friends while indulging in as much love, light and laughter as possible.

“I look forward to meeting you at your next visit!”
